Hi, I’m Christine Bartel, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina, and the founder of Willow Haven Counseling Services. My passion for women’s mental health comes from my own story—navigating the layered journey of womanhood, motherhood, ADHD, and the ever-evolving process of becoming whole.
I am deeply committed to supporting women through life’s transitions—whether that means coping with anxiety or burnout, managing the mental load of motherhood, processing early pregnancy loss, navigating the stress of infertility, or parenting a neurodivergent child. As a woman with ADHD, I understand firsthand the overwhelm and self-doubt that can accompany it, and I’m passionate about helping other women find balance, self-compassion, and sustainable rhythms in their daily lives.
At Willow Haven Counseling Services, I’ve created a space where you can exhale, reflect, and begin to heal. Whether you’re walking through motherhood, adjusting to change, or rediscovering your sense of self, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered along the way.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic—blending person-centered therapy, ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), and attachment theory. I believe in addressing the whole person—emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually—and work with each client to create a personalized plan that honors their unique story and goals. I also offer Christian-based counseling as requested.
