Medicaid may cover therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, perinatal and postpartum adjustment, stress, relationship concerns, and emotional overwhelm.

Medicaid does cover individual therapy and this includes sessions both in-person and via telehealth.

Willow Haven Counseling services is happy to bill Medicaid, clients are responsible for maintaining active coverage and understanding their specific plan benefits. Some Medicaid plans require a referral from a primary care provider or prior authorization for ongoing therapy. If needed, I will work with you to help navigate this process.
